The consensus over on the FFG rules forum is that Salvation is not a crit effect.

It doesn't have the normal wording for a crit effect. All other crit effects have: : blah blah blah, bad thing.Salvation just states that each from your forward arc counts as 2 damage instead of 1. So crit effects should be separate. But this may be a good question for the rules lawyers over on the FF G forum.

I would have it activate on a Red , but otherwise, I like it. A red crit effect, that only activates at close range would be fun and thematic.

I decided on a bit of a rework, for the Conqueror. It will now be one of the specialty ships in my Super Weapon expansion. The Idea is that to get full use of the super weapon, you need to combine a specific specialty ship type, title & Upgrade. Playtesting to follow.

my thinking is, that it takes five squadron hits in the same round to kill this, two get negated by scatter, one to shields, two to hull, boom. Most squadron attacks are at range 1, so Evade tokens are kind of useless. Now, if the attacker is a Rhymer ball, and/or Mothma is your commander, you can add in the evades as well. either way, it is harder to kill all but a few squadron aces. dangerous to squadrons not Ships.

Thats the idea. It only requires three hits to take it out, and only the scatter is usable against any but Rhymer squadrons.

I will attempt to knock out some silhouettes at lunch tomorrow. You may want to drop the title and commander upgrade slots, as each ship can take them anyway, and the just take up space on the card.

This one has been rolling around in my brain for weeks now, but it could work for Thrawn.After a ship performs a non-counter attack against your ship, you may attack that ship with a battery armament of X blue dice, even if you are destroyed. X is based on size class:Small ship: 1Medium ship: 2Large ship: 3Or X = Command value.

Mining Guild is now entering the playtesting phase of creation. Feel free to give anything here a test drive. An MC80 can proxy for the Forager-Class. This Summer should give me the opportunity to finalize point costs and wording of upgrades, but I welcome input from the community.
